Lorette teaches our Thursday 9:30am "Slow Flow Asana" class. She's taught yoga since 1998.
Certified in Ananda yoga, she teaches the classic poses of Hatha yoga with an eclectic blend of different styles, incorporating Pranayama and meditation techniques.
She is an international yoga instructor and has taught at Central Oregon Community College, St. Charles Medical Center and studios throughout Bend, Oregon.
The poses that Lorette teaches allow the body to release stress, enhance energy and boost our natural healing abilities. Studies have show that yoga can lower high blood pressure, relieve anxiety and improve sleep. Meditation relieves the mind of its constant stream of thoughts, worries, lists and pressures.
Ultimately, yoga helps reveal the connection between body and mind, allowing students to discover the peace that many of us seek.
