Join licensed acupuncturist, Mark Montgomery in learning and practicing tools derived from Chinese medicine, Sufi energy healing and a variety of other healing disciplines.

The workshop will focus on "energy literacy," cultivating the ability to perceive  and nourish our own vital energy as well as the energy of those around us.

We'll spend time in practice, discussion, laughter, and community-building.

​The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali are essential teachings that weave yogic practices, philosophy and day-to-day questions of life into the fabric of one's being. They offer clear, timeless guidance on pursuing the path to fulfillment and self-actualization.
 
In this 3-hour workshop on Saturday, May 14th from 1-4, we’ll begin to chant the first 12 Sutras from the Samadhi Pada.  As we learn to chant in Sanskrit together, we’ll also explore the meaning and power of these ancient scriptures.  

This workshop is offered by Tara Mala White, E-RYT 500.
​Tara's passion is to offer her students the full depth and richness of the yogic traditions in an understandable, enjoyable, transformational setting. She has studied yoga for decades with teachers across the globe, including Sri K Pattabhi Jois, John Friend, Paul Grilley, Sianna Sherman, Prem Carlisi, Desieree Rhumbaugh, and Bhavani Maki.
