The moment a woman gives birth to a child, she goes through a rebirth herself. She crosses the sacred threshold of Motherhood and enters the postpartum period. Historically, women and families have been supported by tribes and communities of people, making the transition for mama a time of true restoration for the body and mind. At some point the postpartum time has become more complex for modern society to understand and harder for women to go through and recover from. The solution is to gather as a community, share experiences, and learn through ancestral wisdom.
