​Community Acupuncture is a movement that started in Portland in 2002 and has since spread around the U.S. and the world.

The primary goals of community acupuncture are to provide access to affordable acupuncture on a sliding scale fee and to build community by creating a welcoming space where people come together to heal.

After an initial interview with the acupuncturist you'll receive your treatment in a comfortable recliner chair in our large healing room, surrounded by other resting and sleeping patients with soft music and healing sounds playing in the background.

Similar to a qigong or meditation class, coming together with others in a community acupuncture clinic creates a powerful field that promotes the healing process for everyone there.

The sliding scale for your first visit for acupuncture is $35 - $65; you decide what on that scale you can afford to pay, no questions asked. Starting with your second visit the sliding scale is $20 - $50.

​In both cases you'll spend time talking with the acupuncturist, then, after needles have been inserted, you'll lie back in one of our recliner chairs for half an hour to an hour.

Acupuncturist Mark Montgomery, earned his Master's degree in acupuncture in 1999 and has studied with masters throughout the U.S. and in China. He started the first Community Acupuncture clinic in Utah and was the President of the Utah Association for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from 2008 - 2013. He's a longstanding member of POCA, the organization which pioneered Community Acupuncture.

Wednesday: 9AM - 12:30PM;  2:30 - 6:00PM
Friday: 9AM - 12:30PM

Zero Balancing: Tuesday: Noon - 6:00PM
