New class with Vanessa Schulz starting in December...

Starting December 7th Vanessa Schulz will be offering a class Monday evenings from 7:00 - 8:30  entitled "Facing Climate Change -- Together."

Here's a description of the class:

Global warming is here. Faced with the awful facts and dire projections, we are all struggling emotionally, psychologically (consciously or unconsciously), even physically. Yet we rarely discuss it. Guided by long-time activist/filmmaker and yoga instructor, Vanessa Schulz, this class allows the sadness and dread of environmental collapse to be acknowledged, experienced and accepted. Breaking through the psychic numbing and social censorship of taboo subjects we often dismiss as depressive, we are reminded why our individual climate-friendly actions matter. We learn why affirmation of our emotional body is so vitally important to cultural and personal transformation. Join us in building community for what lies ahead and for what is already here.
